bedspreads was a project done over 87 days, in which I took a photo of my bed every morning as soon as I got up. I was interested in the changing of form of my bed, the way the wrinkles were accentuated or muted by the light (or lack thereof) from the window, where my pillows ended up after a night's sleep. I was inspired by Sophie Calle, and her Sleepers series in particular. I also printed this as a 4x6 book on transparencies displayed on a lightbox, so you could layer the photographs and flip through and see how they interacted with each other.
